About the Park

During the summer of 2008, the pond was renovated and turned into a more naturalized stream and wetland. The riparian buffer improves water quality for wildlife. A group picnic shelter with restrooms, skatepark, and new play equipment opened to the public in 2010. A paved multi-use path and additional landscaping were added to the park in 2011. The replacement of the bridge and installation of a nature literature trail were completed in 2012. The skatepark was expanded in 2016.
