Mark your calendar for Saturday, September 27, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., for Centerville-Washington Park District’s annual Adapted Action Day. This year, the event will be held at a new location, Activity Center Park.

Adapted Action Day is designed to celebrate recreation for all abilities, offering a welcoming space where everyone can join in the fun. Families and individuals can enjoy a wide range of adapted activities, including archery, kickball, pickleball/tennis, biking, crafts, sidewalk chalk, ASL interpreted story times and more. Community partners will be on hand to help bring the activities to life and ensure a memorable experience for all.

Adapted Action Day is open to everyone! Whether you have a disability, love someone who does, want to learn more about inclusivity, or simply want to be part of a joyful community event, you are invited!

Share any accommodations that would help make the event even more accessible and enjoyable by contacting Centerville-Washington Park District Recreation Supervisor Kayla Ferdelman at 937-433-5155 or kferdelman@cwpd.org.

Registration is not required, but it does help for planning purposes.
