A group of seven people standing behind a green sign that says Pleasant Hill Park. The Integrated Transition Options Program (ITOP) is an educational partnership between Centerville City Schools, Bethany Village and local businesses. This adult transition program supports students with special needs who choose to remain in school until age 22. ITOP’s goal is to maximize each participant’s independence through functional academics, independent living skills, community awareness, career exploration, job training and placement services. The program blends Special Education and Career Education services to help students successfully transition from high school to adult life.

In 2025, ITOP team members contributed more than 150 volunteer hours to the Centerville-Washington Park District. Their efforts included landscaping and mulching, trash and litter pickup, playground safety surface maintenance and sorting batteries for recycling. The team also collected and sorted native wildflower seeds from your prairies and meadows, supporting the health and beauty of your natural areas.

The Centerville-Washington Park District is grateful to ITOP — and all of our dedicated volunteers — for sharing their time and talents to make our parks even better.
