Join us Saturday, November 7 from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. at Grant Park, Normandy Entrance for a family-friendly day of honeysuckle removal! After we remove honeysuckle, we will build a fire to dispose of the invasive plant and make s’mores! At Honeysuckle Homestead we will be finding invasive honeysuckle plants, trimming debris and making piles for burning, along with trimming, cutting, and removing the invasive honeysuckle. This event is open to all ages and volunteer group sizes.
Are you looking for a way for your business or organization to volunteer together? Are you looking for a few more volunteer hours for school? Do you want a fun way to get your family outdoors for a fall afternoon? Honeysuckle Homestead is the event for you!
