CWPD Hosting Movie Party in the Park at Oak Creek South Park
CENTERVILLE, OH: Hear ye, hear ye! Join the Centerville-Washington Park District (CWPD) at Oak Creek South Park on Friday, September 18 for a journey back in time for games and activities inspired by the Renaissance period. From archery and “apple bobbing” to art-making and stories of fantastical beasts, there will be fun for all ages! Family-friendly costumes are welcome and encouraged. The adventure begins at 6:30 p.m. At sunset, there will be a screening of the original, animated “How to Train Your Dragon.” This event is made possible thanks to a generous sponsorship by Waverly Advisors.
Timeless Tacos food truck and Whit’s Frozen Custard will be available for purchase. Or, you can bring a picnic-blanket dinner.
Registration is requested, but not required. Registered participants will receive a cancellation email if necessary due to weather. Register online or call (937) 433-5155. A rain date, if needed, is scheduled for Friday, September 25. Please note, the playground closes at sunset.
Oak Creek South Park is located at 790 Miamisburg-Centerville Rd. (St. Route 725). The park features a popular playground, skatepark, athletic fields, and walking path.
