Adapted Action Day Returns to Activity Center Park
CENTERVILLE, OH: The Centerville-Washington Park District invites the community to Adapted Action Day on Saturday, October 3, from 10 a.m.–1 p.m. at Activity Center Park, 221 N. Main St. This fun-filled event features a variety of adapted activities and opportunities for people of all abilities to play, explore and connect.
Participants can enjoy archery, kickball, sidewalk chalk, adapted biking, crafts, bubbles, sensory activities, storytimes and more. Community partners from throughout the area will also be on hand to help bring this special event to life.
Adapted Action Day is open to everyone. Whether you have a disability, love someone who does, want to learn more about inclusion or simply want to join the fun, you are welcome!
More than a dozen accommodations are already planned for the event, with a complete list available at cwpd.org. Participants can also request specific accommodations or activity modifications during the registration process.
Registration is requested but not required. Registered participants will receive an email if the event is canceled due to inclement weather. The event is weather-dependent.
Kona Ice will also be on site to add a little extra sweetness to the day!
Activity Center Park is located at 221 N. Main St., near Incarnation School and Boston Stoker. Follow the driveway past the Centerville Mural to find the event.
