 Get Outta the Swamp and into the Park for a Shrek Movie Party!

CENTERVILLE, OH:  Even an ogre would have fun! The Centerville-Washington Park District is hosting a spring Movie Party in the Park on Saturday, May 9, 2026. Starting at 7:00 p.m., they will kick off the adventure with games, crafts and live donkey visitors from Learning Tree Farm! At sunset, settle in for a showing of 2001’s classic hit, Shrek! This free event is appropriate for all ages and takes place at Yankee Park.

Enjoy a tasty dinner from Claybourne Grille, a dessert by Ginny’s Philly Water Ice, or bring a picnic dinner. Don’t forget to bring a lawn chair or picnic blanket!

Registration is not required for this event. Registered participants will receive a cancellation notice if necessary due to inclement weather. A rain date is scheduled for Saturday, May 16. Sign up online at cwpd.org or call 937-433-5155 to register.
