Subject: Free Family Fun at Schoolhouse Park
WASHINGTON TWP, OH: The Centerville-Washington Park District is hosting two free special events Friday, June 24 at Schoolhouse Park, 1875 Nutt Road.
Start the day by off getting wild at the Summer Safari! Children can spend the morning playing safari-themed carnival-style games, making a safari craft and enjoying a tropical-themed bounce house. Refreshments from Kona Ice will be available for purchase. The Summer Safari is for ages 3-12. Games, activities and crafts will begin at 10 a.m. Children must be signed in and a parent or guardian must stay at the event. The festivities will conclude at noon.
Return to Schoolhouse Park Friday evening for a free family movie night! Watch Disney’s The Game Plan on the big screen. Bring chairs, blankets and snacks. Free popcorn will be provided. This event is open to all ages. Games and activities will begin at 8 p.m. and the movie will begin at 9 p.m. Special appearance by the Dayton Dutch Lions.
