Subject: Nocturnal nature program at Oak Creek South Park
WASHINGTON TWP, OH: The parks of Centerville-Washington Park District close at dusk, but their Nocturnal Nature Series allows you the opportunity to experience the parks after dark! Each month the series focuses on a different topic. The next Nocturnal Nature Series program is Friday, August 4 from 8:30 – 9:30 p.m. at Oak Creek South Park, 790 Miamisburg-Centerville Rd. Participants will learn about the moth life cycle, meet moth caterpillars, create a moth craft and take a short hike on a paved trail to search for moths. You will leave with a new appreciation for this diverse group of insects! The program is free for Centerville and Washington Township residents, or $4 per family for nonresidents. All ages are welcome. To register visit www.cwpd.org or call 937-433-5155.
