Free Tie-Dye Picnic Returns to Activity Center Park

A child is tie-dying at a picnic table in a park shelterCENTERVILLE, OH: Join the Centerville-Washington Park District and the Washington-Centerville Public Library on Saturday, July 11, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. for the second annual free tie-dye event: Splash of Color Picnic! Bring white cotton items to Activity Center Park and pack a picnic to enjoy! Park and library staff will help you create vibrant masterpieces, then you can cool off in the sprayground and enjoy your picnic.

An adult must accompany children at all times. Kona Ice is available for purchase. Be sure to wear something you don’t mind getting messy! A maximum of two items per person for tie-dyeing; 100% cotton works best.

Registration is not required; however, registered participants will receive weather updates by email, if necessary. A rain date is scheduled for Saturday, July 18, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at Activity Center Park, if needed.

Activity Center Park is located at 221 N. Main St. The park features a popular accessible playground, sprayground, baseball fields, pickleball courts and a paved multi-use path.
