Kick off summer with your favorite person! Celebrate friendship with flower bouquet making, fun photo opportunities and, of course, friendship bracelets! Travelin’ Toms will be available for purchase for the last hour of the event.
Registration is requested, but not required. Registered participants will receive a cancellation email if necessary due to weather.
Teen Drawing Workshop
Ages 8 – 15
Join Kristin of Purple Paintbrush for a relaxed, skill-building drawing workshop designed for young teens. Participants will explore drawing from life using a beachy, summer-inspired still life. This workshop encourages experimentation, confidence and creativity for all drawing skill levels.

Get ready for a week bursting with color and creativity! Campers will dive into painting projects, tie-dye masterpieces, and other messy, hands-on art activities. Campers will also compete with different teams for color-filled games and challenges that are sure to make a splash!

Beginner Pickleball Lessons – Session A

Join Certified Pickleball Trainer James Lawson to develop the introductory skills to level up your pickleball game. James is a licensed and certified instructor with a current DUPR rating of 5.23. This 4-week lesson is designed for the beginner player looking to develop basic skills to move up to a more competitive level of play.

Creative Kids Corner: Take Home Kits

This take-home kit features crafts and activities revolving around a fun nature-based seasonal theme! There will be three different kits — one for each month! Pick up instructions with additional information will be emailed to registered participants after the registration has ended.

Try new art skills during this fun, nature-themed crafting program. Each session will offer different options for participants to choose from, allowing them to work independently or get creative together!

Glass Fusing: Summer Spinners
Ages 16 and up
This beginner-friendly glass fusing project with Kathy Woodruff from Busy Beaver is made for sunny days and gentle breezes. Participants will create three 3″ squares that will be hooked together with mirrors.

Neighborhood Yoga A: Gentle Yoga
Ages 18 and up
Exploring various yoga styles is as easy as walking to your neighborhood park. Gentle yoga, vinyasa flow and breathwork + meditation classes will be offered in a soothing neighborhood park setting, led by Method Yoga’s Megan Lees. Each class is suitable for all levels. Please bring a mat and water bottle. Classes are weather dependent.

Picnic & Play
Ages 3 – 7 with adult companion
Work together to make simple, kid-friendly picnic snacks with Katie Blauser from Eat Pretty Darling. Then, enjoy free play at the Mark Kreusch Nature Playce. This relaxed program encourages creativity while learning about food, family time, and outdoor exploration in a fun, welcoming setting. Please note: All major food allergens could be present in this class.
