Nature Fun: An Outdoor Family Storytime
All ages
Fridays, June 13, July 11 & August 15
Families are invited to join us outside to listen to a story brought to you by the Washington-Centerville Public Library! Participate in nature-themed activities following the story. Families are encouraged to bring a blanket to sit on. All sessions are Tools to Trek programs.
Registration is not required but is recommended.
Past and Present: Grant Park and Normandy Farms
Ages 16 and up
Join history experts and CWPD for a look at Grant Park’s Normandy Entrance, past and present. After a presentation on the area’s history featuring Richard H. Grant and Normandy Farms, we will take a short hike to view the remnants of the past mixed with the present natural environment. The hike is on a natural trail with some inclines.

Lacrosse Ball/Foam Rolling Clinic
Ages 16 and up (under 18 requires adult companion)
Airrosti’s Dr. Steven Miller and Adelle will teach you how to manage, reduce and eliminate musculoskeletal pain through preventative self-myofascial release techniques using a foam roller and lacrosse ball. If you have a foam roller, lacrosse ball or mat, please bring them with you. There will be a limited supply of foam rollers and lacrosse balls on hand to use.

Summer Adult Archery B
Ages 16 and up
This program is for beginners interested in learning archery! By the end of the night, you’ll be shooting on your own, playing games and increasing your confidence as an archer. Each group can have up to four people. This program is perfect for couples, friend groups, co-workers, siblings and more! One registration per group. Must be 16 or older to join.

Hidden Meadows Camp Wk 7 Morning
Ages 5 – 12
Botanists are scientists who study plants, and your camper gets to become one this week. Learn about trees, plants, wildflowers, and the meadows and forests they call home. We will also learn about pollinators! All of your favorite camp games will be played along the way.

Recreation Day Camp (RDC) offers a variety of recreation activities, sports, games, arts and crafts, guest speakers and more! This fun program keeps children outdoors and active all week! Recreation Day Camp is weather-dependent; you will receive a refund for any canceled days at the end of the week.

Archery and nature education combined! Campers will learn the basics of archery, play water games, learn about local wildlife, play archery tag and practice with 3D targets.

Ages 9 – 13
Let’s stay active and healthy, all while trying new outdoor activities! We’ll learn neat nature education topics along the way! Each week has different themes and activities. Top secret! This week of camp is full of mysteries, decoders and spy thrillers. We will have lots of challenges to solve, so get your disguise ready, secret agent!

Window Flower Art
Ages 3 – 6
Wildflowers are not just something to admire, they are built perfectly to attract pollinators! Learn about the parts of wildflowers by creating a work of art for your window! All supplies will be provided. This is a Tools to Trek program.

Dance Fitness with Emily
Ages 18 and up
Tuesdays, July 15 – August 26
(No class August 12)
We dance to various styles of music (Latin, hip hop, pop, global rhythms, etc.) which provides a good mix of low to high-intensity moves. Instructor Emily Chandler strives to make this class high-energy and a lot of fun! We can guarantee you’ll leave this class feeling great! Please bring a bottle of water.

Fit Like a Superhero
Ages 8 – 12
Complete fitness challenges inspired by the powers and moves of iconic heroes! Participants will build strength, agility and confidence as they tackle fun, superhero-inspired challenges and activities. Dressing up as your favorite superhero is encouraged — capes, masks, or superhero shirts add to the excitement and make the experience even more immersive. Get ready to power up, have fun and feel like a true hero! This is a drop-off program.

Needle Felting Dryer Balls
Ages 16 and up
We will cover the basics of needle felting and decorate a set of environmentally friendly dryer balls. They can be used instead of dryer sheets as a more natural and sustainable alternative. No prior experience is needed and all supplies will be provided. You are welcome to bring your own tools or dryer balls.

Bubbles & Bubble Art
Recommended for ages 3 – 7 with parent/guardian
Let’s explore bubbles with a bubble party! We will create a unique craft using bubbles, and enjoy bubble playtime and a story!

Kettering PRCA and Centerville-Washington Park District are collaborating to bring the joy of bird watching to our youth.
Bird watching and identification is a fun and rewarding hobby and also a great place to make friends. Light snacks are provided. Participants must become members of the Ohio Young Birders Club and be between the ages of 12 and 18.
