Safari Fitness Adventure
Recommended ages 4 – 8 with adult companion
Participants will visit various stations, each featuring fun fitness challenges inspired by incredible animals — leap like frogs, crawl like bears and sprint like cheetahs. Upon completing the journey, they’ll earn special safari badges to celebrate their achievements. Get ready for a wild time filled with movement, learning and fun!
Date Night Mystery Solve It!
Ages 18 and up
Join the Centerville-Washington Park District and the Washington-Centerville Public Library for a book signing at “Lit Lounge!” However, during the event, the author is suddenly slain! Enjoy light refreshments and conversation while you find clues to solve the mystery. Please note: this program is a repetition of the Fall program of the same name. Please sign up each person attending.

Safety on Wheels
All ages
Join us the Noon Optimist Club of Centerville, in partnership with the Centerville-Washington Park District, the Centerville Police Department and Bike Centerville, promote youth bicycle safety in the community. Children of all ages are encouraged to attend and bring their bicycles. Free bicycle helmets will be available, along with helmet fittings, and bikes will be given a safety check before kids ride the fun obstacle course! There will also be raffle prizes throughout the event, including grand prize bicycles.
Registration is not required.
Bike Centerville Community Ride
Ages 18 and up
Take advantage of this opportunity to explore Centerville and Washington Township by bicycle. The ride will be led by trained and experienced bike leaders and will help you learn routes to shopping, parks and more! Rides will be an easy-paced 10 to 15 miles that start and end at a park.

Enjoy the warm weather on our porch! Create a beautiful work of art! We will be personalizing tote bags perfect for farmers markets, shopping trips or working in the garden. The program will cover the basics of simple embroidery. No previous experience is necessary. All supplies and materials are provided.

Lacrosse Ball/Foam Rolling Clinic
Ages 16 and up (under 18 requires adult companion)
This class will focus on both upper and lower body exercises. If you have a foam roller, lacrosse ball or mat, please bring them with you. There will be a limited supply of foam rollers and lacrosse balls on hand to use.

Nature Fun: An Outdoor Family Storytime
All ages
Families are invited to join us outside to listen to a story brought to you by the Washington-Centerville Public Library. Participate in nature-themed activities following the story. Families are encouraged to bring a blanket to sit on.
Registration is not required but is recommended.
Watercolor & Printmaking Class
Ages 18 and up
We will be exploring nature-themed imagery while combining watercolor painting with block printing. Leave the class with your finished painting/print and your very own printing block. All skill levels are welcome! This class is best for beginner to intermediate level participants.

Hidden Meadows Camp Wk 1 Morning

What’s a habitat? An animal home! Join us for a week of exploring habitats at Grant Park! From squirrels and owls to salamanders and snails, we will answer the question of ‘where do wild things live?’ Each day will feature hikes to different parts of Grant Park to explore forests, creeks, ponds, meadows, and even the leaf litter on the edge of the trails!

Recreation Day Camp (RDC) offers a variety of recreation activities, sports, games, arts and crafts, guest speakers and more! This fun program keeps children outdoors and active all week! Junior Naturalist Camp: Creeks and Ponds
Ages 10 – 12
Naturalist camp combines environmental education, outdoor play, fun games, team challenges and camaraderie all in one! We will conduct wildlife surveys, climb trees with EarthJoy, hike, go creeking, and take on silly team challenges. Each week will have a different nature theme to study. We will spend one day each week at Oak Grove Park where we will focus on archery, special activities and challenges related to our weekly theme.

Sugar Valley Day Camp Week 1

Explore Bill Yeck Park in a whole new way. Up the trails, through the woods and down the creek we go! Complete scavenger hunts, play classic camp games and complete crafts to get a feel for the park and summer fun!
