Pickleball League Any Doubles Int/Advanced
Ages 18 and up
Tuesdays, May 12 – June 16
This for-fun league is open to any doubles teams (men’s, women’s, or mixed doubles) at the advanced intermediate to competitive level. Please note, this is a league designed for players with a strong understanding of pickleball rules, and who are at an advanced intermediate to experienced level of competition. This is our highest level league at this time. No instruction/lessons are included in the league.

Wednesdays, May 13 – June 17

Hike with a Naturalist
Ages 18 and up
Join us on a stroll through your park! A naturalist will point out seasonal changes and discuss the wildlife we observe. Hike is on a natural path.

The Great Garden Race
All ages (stations recommended for ages 4 – 10)
Join us for an adventure in gardening! Race from station to station on our short, paved loop and at the end take home your very own seed starters for a garden of your own! What kind of garden will you plant? This is a Tools to Trek program.
Registration is requested so that we can have an accurate number of gardening supplies for participants.
Butterfly Survey
Recommended for ages 8 and up
Help contribute to research by joining the naturalist on butterfly surveys. Identify and count butterflies while observing other seasonal wildlife as we stroll. No experience is necessary. Trail is approximately one mile in length on uneven terrain. This is a Tools to Trek program.

Bike About Centerville Community Ride
Ages 18 and up
Take advantage of this opportunity to explore Centerville and Washington Township by bicycle. The ride will be led by trained and experienced bike leaders and will help you learn routes to shopping, parks and more! The ride will be an easy-paced 10 to 15 miles.

Conservation Crew: Native Plantings
Ages 12 – 18
We will be planting Wild Bergamot plugs in the seed nursery. Come ready to dig! All Conservation Crew sessions count as service hours.

Preschool Nature Series: May Flowers
Ages 3 – 5 with adult companion
Do April showers really bring May flowers? Join us for a short hike as we learn about the importance of pollinators in our ecosystems, wildflower characteristics and more! This is a Tools to Trek program.

Women’s Wildflower Hike
Ages 18 and up
This hike invites women who are looking to make friends, get outdoors and learn about wildflowers. Observe the sights and sounds of nature while you grow your community!

Campfire Yoga
Ages 18 and up
Celebrate spring with Method Yoga Studio’s Megan Lees! Enjoy some downtime next to the warm and cozy fire. This outdoor yoga class will include warm-up, breath work, standing poses, flowing poses and end with relaxation around the campfire.

Creating a Wildlife Habitat
All ages
Families will receive a kit and learn how to provide food, water, shelter and space to our local insects and birds. Families are encouraged to certify their backyards as an official habitat through the National Wildlife Federation. Families will receive native plants in addition to other supplies. This is a Tools to Trek program. Dress for a mess!

Art-chery (Youth)
Ages 8 – 15
Have you ever painted a pink and blue tree using only cotton balls? This might be your chance! First, you’ll learn the basics of archery. Then, you’ll use your new skills to aim at the targets. Your arrows will determine the colors, tools and inspiration for an artistic masterpiece of your creation! All equipment is provided and no experience is necessary. This is a drop-off program, but adults are welcome to stay and observe.

Glass Fusing: Spring Daisy Suncatcher
Ages 16 and up
Create a 4.5″ by 9″ suncatcher to highlight a classic spring flower. Kathy Woodruff from Busy Beaver will provide the supplies. Beginners and returners alike are welcome!
