All the different colors in nature are what make your parks so beautiful! We will spend each day looking for a featured color. At the end of the end of the week, we will explore all the colors we learned about. Campers are encouraged to wear the featured color each day of camp!

ACtivity Squad Camp Week 9

We have a variety of teamwork-based games and activities ready for you, should you accept the challenge. Our fan-favorite camp version of The Amazing Race is back! Make sure your shoes are tied and gear is packed, because the clock starts now! We will use our inflatable S.A.F.E. Archery equipment this week.

Fitness Yoga D
Ages 18 and up
Mondays, July 28 – September 8
(No class September 1)
You will get it all in one fitness class — a challenging workout, yoga practice, as well as mindfulness and functional movement for vitality and longevity. All levels are welcome. Taught by certified yoga instructor Dan Loofboro. Please bring a yoga mat and water.

Gentle Yoga
Ages 18 and up
Tuesdays, July 29 – September 2
Join us for a gentler, more adaptable yoga program. This class will feature additional guidance, modifications and props to assist in supporting postures and a slower pace. Taught by certified yoga instructor Kathleen Crosby. Please bring a yoga mat and water.

Summer Pressed Flowers
Ages 14 and up
This class will begin with an introduction to various flower pressing and preserving methods. After that, we will press some flowers of our own and make mini art with dried flowers. Participants may choose to add on a wooden flower press for an additional fee if they have not taken this class before.

Conservation Crew: Invasive Plant Control
Ages 12 – 18
The Conservation Crew will take charge of a native wildflower meadow, removing invasive plants to promote pollinator habitat. If you have work gloves, please bring them. We will have some on hand to borrow.

Glass Fusing: Whimsical Garden Décor
Ages 16 and up
Add more color to your garden with glass décor. Kathy Woodruff from Busy Beaver will lead participants through the basics of glass fusing. Create two small pieces to stake in your garden.

Mini Evening Campout

Learn family fun camping skills — how to set up a tent, start a campfire to toast the best marshmallows, what sticks are best to cook with over an open fire, and other useful things to know before heading out! Also, learn the best things to bring with you!
