Amazing Athletes at the Park
Ages 3 – 6

Balance! Run! Jump! Catch! Kick! Join Amazing Athletes to practice coordination, fine motor and gross motor skills! This program uses the fundamentals of 10 different sports to help build and develop motor skills, nutritional knowledge and body awareness. Sign up for both sessions and receive an Amazing Athletes t-shirt!

Wednesdays, June 4 – October 29
Join Up and Running trail leaders as you enjoy running on natural trails. This running group is for experienced runners and includes meadows, trails and hills. Meet at the Normandy Entrance (501 Normandy Ridge Rd.) of Grant Park or the Smith Entrance (2230 E. Centerville Station Rd.) of Bill Yeck Park. Please check online schedule for locations each week. Sign up once for the entire year!

Fitness Fusion
Ages 18 and up
Wednesdays, September 3 – October 8
Fitness Fusion incorporates cardio, circuit training, resistance training, pilates and compound exercises. Each class will vary in the types of exercises and will help you build speed, power, strength and endurance. Modifications provided. Taught by Emily Chandler, a certified group fitness instructor. You will need a light set of weights and a towel or yoga mat.

Fall About Archery (Youth)
Ages 8 – 15
Let’s dive into the fall season with some archery! Join us for this session to learn the basics of archery, and play some competitive, fall-themed games! All equipment is provided and no experience is necessary. This is a drop-off program, but adults are welcome to stay and observe.

Embroidery Journaling: Stitch the Year with CWPD
Ages 14 and up
Thursdays, September 4, October 2 & November 6
This class will take us through the fall months as we create an embroidered journal representing important or special memories with simple stitches and colorful designs. While this program builds off the winter, spring and summer sessions, you do not need to have attended these sessions to participate. Some experience with stitching is recommended. Each session will include light refreshments and a nature talk on a seasonal topic.

Conservation Crew: Tree Mapping

Put your tree ID and measuring skills to the test! We will be entering trees into our database using tablets at Forest Field Park—no experience is needed.

Container Gardening: Fall Blooms
Ages 14 and up
Take in the last of the sunshine and plant some fall blooms with us! Decorate a terracotta pot and plant a variety of seeds and starts just in time for a seasonal pop of color. All supplies and equipment will be provided.

YoGlow
Ages 14 and up (under 18 must have an adult companion)
Method Yoga Studio owner and instructor Megan Lees will lead this outdoor yoga class in the peaceful park setting. We will provide glow bracelets for all participants to wear! This yoga class is for all levels and will include a warm-up, breathwork, standing poses, flowing poses and end with relaxation. Please bring your yoga mat and water. Dress comfortably.
Registration is not required, but registered participants will receive reminder and/or cancellation emails.

Fossils Rock Education Trail
All ages

Fossils are fascinating! Girl Scout Troop #3212 is sharing its passion for Ohio fossils with an educational trail. Walk the paved path and read their research signs to learn about common fossils found in the nearby creek bed. When you have found all 12 signs, scan the QR code and take the fossil quiz to be eligible for a handmade paintable fossil prize and to be included in the raffle for a fabulous fossil-themed basket!

CWPD Rodeo Showdown

An interactive and action-packed adventure that brings the Wild West to life! Kids will take on the role of little cowboys and cowgirls as they participate in exciting Western-themed games, challenges and activities that promote physical activity, coordination and teamwork. With a lively frontier atmosphere, this program offers a rootin’-tootin’ good time filled with fun, imagination and plenty of Wild West spirit! Encourage your little wranglers to dress the part by wearing cowboy hats, bandanas or boots to fully embrace the adventure!

Fall Family Art Workshop
Recommended for ages 5 – 10 with adult companion(s)
Saturday, September 6
Work together to create a personalized family plate with your handprints and names. It will be fired in the kiln, making it a durable memento with added fall touches such as leaf imprints. Register one person per family. If you would like to make multiple plates, register an additional child or adult.

We are offering an early arrival option for children needing a quieter, sensory-friendly Fairy and Gnome Home Festival experience.
