It Comes Full Circle: The “Pi Day” Hike
All ages
It’s Pi Day! Join us for either an approximately 3.14-mile hike on natural and paved trails or a 1-mile hike on crushed limestone and paved paths. A limited number of custom CWPD Pi Day stickers and special treats will be available at the end!
Please dress for natural trails and bring water. Strollers are not recommended on natural trails.
Native Wildflower String Art & Pure Barre
Ages 18 and up
A little bit of art and a great workout! We have teamed up with Pure Barre to work on our minds and bodies. Participants will create string art with designs inspired by our native wildflowers!

Preschool Nature Series: Starry Nights (Mar)
Ages 3 – 5 with adult companion
At night, we can see so many stars in the sky! We will learn what a star is made of and how people have used them to navigate and tell stories! Then, we will imagine and create our own star maps.

Porch Stitching: Floral Monograms
Ages 16 and up
This program will go over some of the basics of embroidery as we complete a hand-embroidered monogram. After that, we will embellish the embroidery hoops with flowers and leaves to make a perfect, personalized, spring decoration! No previous experience is necessary.

Watercolor Butterflies and Beetles
Ages 18 and up
Explore the beauty of the world of insects through watercolor painting! We will create colorful paintings of butterflies and beetles utilizing basic brush and watercolor techniques. This is a beginner-level class.

Reading in the Wild
Ages 18 months – 4 years with adult companion
We will interact with stories, complete crafts with sensory themes and take short hikes in the park. This program is limited to one adult companion per registrant. Backpacks and front carriers are appropriate if your child is not walking. Strollers are not recommended at parks with natural terrain. The Reading in the Wild March programs are identical, please only select one.

A 9-week course for women who want to successfully run a 5k! Perfect for new runners and those returning from a running hiatus. This course includes a mix of walking and running that gradually builds up your stamina to run for a full 30 minutes. Enrollment in either or both days includes a 9-week walk/running plan to go from couch to 30 minutes of running.

Learn how adding or swapping simple nutritional options can add up to a healthier lifestyle. Join Holistic Health Coach Michelle Daniel of The Lifestyle Technique as you learn the basics of nutrition and a healthy lifestyle. Gather with others and have fun preparing your own make-and-take overnight oats!

Wooden Egg Painting
All ages
Wooden eggs can be reused in your holiday traditions or used as décor. Your family will get one dozen wooden eggs to paint and personalize. During the painting process, the instructor will discuss why bird eggs are different colors. Price includes one dozen 2.5-inch flat-bottomed eggs. Paint is provided.
