Early Adventures
Ages 0 – 4 years with adult companion
These exploratory hikes foster curiosity and confidence in young children. Your leader will point out seasonal changes and other natural points of interest in the parks. Hike is on a paved path. Backpacks, strollers, and front carriers are appropriate if your child is not walking.

Amazing Athletes at the Park
Ages 3 – 6
Wednesdays, March 8 – April 12
Join Amazing Athletes as we practice our coordination, fine motor skills and gross motor skills! This program uses the fundamentals of 10 different sports to help build and develop motor skills, nutritional knowledge and body awareness. This class will be held outdoors with the option to go inside for inclement weather, so please dress accordingly.

Fitness Yoga
Ages 18 and up
Wednesdays, March 8 – April 12
You will get it all in one fitness class — a challenging workout, yoga practice, as well as mindfulness and functional movement for vitality and longevity. All levels are welcome. Taught by certified yoga instructor Dan Loofboro. Please bring a yoga mat and water.

An introduction to Tai Chi and Qigong (pronounced Chi Kung) principles and form through Tai Chi Easy, making Tai Chi accessible and fun for everyone. Taught by Judy Wilson, Certified Integral Qigong and Tai Chi Instructor.
This class will take place outdoors with the option to move indoors for inclement weather.

Intergenerational Series: Spring Showers
Ages 4 – 8 with grandparent(s)
Join us for a drop-in spring celebration! Grandchildren will enjoy checking out the Mark Kreusch Nature Play Playce, storytime and creating a spring craft with their grandparents!
Registration is required, but you can arrive anytime between 4:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.

Floral Design Class
Ages 16 and up (Children 8 – 15 can be registered as participants alongside a paying adult.)
Join Oberer’s Flowers for a relaxing evening learning, step-by-step, how to create a beautiful arrangement with flowers emerging for spring! Make a unique seasonal arrangement featuring hyacinths, tulips and/or daffodils. All supplies are included!

Join us at the Kennard Nature Nook to decorate a flowerpot as a family. While it dries, we will take a hike through the meadows to look for signs of spring! We will return to our flowerpots to plant flower seeds of your choice. This is not a drop-off program.

Nature Fun: An Outdoor Family Storytime

Families are invited to join us outside to listen to a story brought to you by the Washington-Centerville Public Library! Participate in nature-themed activities following the story. Families are encouraged to bring a blanket to sit on. All sessions are Tools to Trek programs.
