Water Wonders
Ages 3 – 5

We’re inviting our littlest campers to spend mornings at the park participating in a variety of recreation activities tied to each week’s theme. Splish, splash and laugh this week with a variety of water-themed games and crafts such as bubble activities and duck pond sensory stations. This week will also include a visit from CWPD naturalists focusing on our local streams and fish!

Fossil Finders
Ages 5 – 11

Monday – Friday, June 22-– 26

Uncover the wonders of the prehistoric world! Campers will create “rawr-some” dinosaur crafts and embark on dino-themed games such as a dino stomp obstacle course, pretending to dodge meteors, lava and other dinosaurs! Special activities this week will include a fossil scavenger hunt and a naturalist presentation about fossils. Campers will also make their own fossils.

Your parks are part of one awesome community! Our campers will learn about nature, kindness, and being a good neighbor from various guest speakers. Crafts and activities will focus on giving back! Your camper can look forward to team-building games, litter cleanup hikes and meeting community heroes this week.

The Amazing Race: Challenge Accepted

Let’s stay active and healthy, all while trying new outdoor activities! We’ll learn neat nature education topics along the way! Each week has different themes and activities. We have a variety of teamwork-based games and activities ready for you, should you accept the challenge. Our fan-favorite camp version of The Amazing Race is back! Make sure your shoes are tied and gear is packed, because the clock starts now!

Survivor (Field Trip Week)
Ages 6 – 12

Monday – Friday, June 22 – 26

It will be a competition all week long! Your camper will play their favorite camp games, tie-dye team bandanas, and join in friendly, competitive outdoor activities. Week 4 campers will meet at Oak Grove Park on one of their camp days to fish, participate in archery, and for their grand competition!

In this hands-on cooking camp with Katie Blauser from Eat Pretty Darling, budding chefs will learn how to transform freshly harvested ingredients into delicious, simple dishes that celebrate the season. From garden to plate, participants will explore where their food comes from, practice basic cooking skills and enjoy tasting the vibrant flavors of local summer harvests. Please note: all major food allergens could be present in this camp.

Join Katie Blauser from Eat Pretty Darling for a flavorful adventure as we explore cuisines from around the world! Each day highlights a new culture and its signature dishes, giving participants the chance to cook, taste and learn about global flavors and traditions. Please note: all major food allergens could be present in this camp.

Dino Digging and Daring Discoveries
Ages 5 – 7

Monday, June 22 – Friday, June 26

Calling our junior paleontologists! Dinos have been found in Activity Center Park! Let’s get digging and investigate the mystery of these giant creatures. Don’t forget your detective hats and magnifying glasses! What will we discover? Please dress in old clothing, and we will provide aprons for especially messy crafts.

Archery and nature education combined! Campers will learn the basics of archery, play water games, learn about local wildlife, play archery tag and practice with 3D targets.

Slime & Splash
Ages 5 – 11

Things are about to get slimy, squishy and soaked! Campers will dive into a week full of gooey slime experiments and playful water games. From mixing up colorful slime creations to cooling off with splashing challenges, this camp is all about messy fun and staying cool under the sun!

Junior Color Battles: Active Art and Vibrant Adventures
Ages 4 – 6

Join us for a week of our favorite messy, colorful, artistic projects! From splatter painting to active artwork to process art, this week is full of it all! “Hues” going to join us? Please dress in old clothing, and we will provide aprons for especially messy crafts.
