Pickleball League Any Doubles Beginner B
Ages 18 and up
Wednesdays, August 5 – September 9
5:30 p.m., 6:30 p.m. AND/OR 7:30 p.m.
This for-fun league is open to any doubles teams (men’s, women’s, or mixed doubles) at the beginner level. Please note that you may be assigned matches at any of the start times listed due to court availability. Please note, this is a league designed for players with a basic understanding of pickleball rules, but who are still early in their pickleball skill development. No instruction/lessons are included in the league.

Framed Flower Art
Ages 14 and up
Let your love for flowers flourish while creating a customized design of dried flowers within a shadow box frame! There will be a variety of dried flowers and greenery, as well as pieces you can personalize. We will also be painting the frames!

Creek Peek: Cascade Effects
All ages
Come with us on a hike and a splash in the creek as we see how weathering can cause a mountain of change in our environment. Closed-toe shoes are required. This is a Tools to Trek program.

Back-to-School Lunchbox Lab
Ages 8 – 15
Kids will build confidence and independence as they learn how to pack their own school lunches. Katie Blauser from Eat Pretty Darling will guide them through balanced meal ideas, practice choosing healthy snacks, and assemble a kid-approved lunchbox they can recreate at home. Please note: All major food allergens could be present in this class.

Fantastic Fantasy Archery (Ages 8 and Up)

A supervillain has attacked Oak Grove Park! Can you and your family create a fantasy character strong enough to hold them off and save the Park District? We will learn the basics of archery and put them to the test. No equipment or experience is needed. Please register each participating member of your family.

This popular program continues into the summer! This drop-off program is designed to give your child the opportunity to get creative! They will design a variety of projects based on a monthly theme. Sign up for one or multiple sessions.

Tuesdays, August 11 – September 15
Join us for a gentler, more adaptable yoga program. This class will feature additional guidance, modifications and props to assist in supporting postures and a slower pace. Taught by certified yoga instructor Kathleen Crosby. Please bring a yoga mat and water.

Invite relaxing vibes in through your window with lavender flowers on a 4.5″ x 9″ suncatcher. Kathy Woodruff from Busy Beaver will lead beginners and returners in this new class!

Hike with a Naturalist: Prairie Plants
Ages 18 and up
Join us on a stroll through your park! A naturalist will point out seasonal changes and discuss the wildlife we observe. Hike is on a natural path. The theme of this walk is prairie plants!

Neighborhood Yoga C: Breathwork/Meditation
Ages 18 and up
Exploring various yoga styles is as easy as walking down to your neighborhood park. Gentle yoga, vinyasa flow and breathwork + meditation classes will be offered in a soothing neighborhood park setting, led by Method Yoga Studio’s Megan Lees. Each class is suitable for all levels. Please bring a mat and water bottle. Classes are weather dependent.

Aging Well & Maintaining Independence
Ages 18 and up
This interactive presentation focuses on practical strategies to help older adults stay strong, mobile and independent as they age. We’ll break down simple, safe exercises and lifestyle habits that support heart health, muscle power, joint function, proper fueling and fall prevention. Presented by David Herman, DC, CCSP, CCEP and Hannah Rastatter, MS, RD, LD of Ohio Sport and Spine. Please bring a yoga mat and water.

Nature Fun: An Outdoor Family Storytime

Families are invited to join us outside to listen to a story brought to you by the Washington-Centerville Public Library! Participate in nature-themed activities following the story. Families are encouraged to bring a blanket to sit on. All sessions are Tools to Trek programs.

Grow Together Native Garden Club
All ages
Grow Together Native Garden Club will focus on the entire household working as a team to manage your own native wildflower gardens at home. Along the journey, we will focus on three ways a garden space can be used: Pollinator support, food Production, and Play! This is a Tools to Trek program.
