Athletic Field Status
The Park District has the final authority regarding field closures due to unplayable field conditions. Coaches, please use your best judgment in order to prevent player injuries and to preserve the fields for future use.
Field status is updated at the following times:
Baseball-Softball: Weekdays, 4:15 p.m.; Saturdays, 8:30 a.m.; Sundays, 11 a.m.
Football: Weekdays, 3 p.m.; Weekends, 8 a.m.
Lacrosse: Weekdays, 3 p.m.; Weekends, 8 a.m.
Soccer: Weekdays, 3 p.m.; Weekends, 8 a.m. (view Oak Grove Park field map (PDF))
If Game Time Decision is indicated, the umpire or referee will make the field closure determination at the scheduled game time.
If you prefer to call an automated line to check the fields, you may call the Rainout Line at 937-265-2001. You can also sign up for email or text alerts for specific fields on the RainoutLine website.
Please note: If the timestamp says “0 hours ago”, it means the status was updated less than an hour ago.
