Needle Felt Forest Fungi
Ages 16 and up
This beginner-friendly needle felting class will cover the basics of needle felting and the process of creating a friendly forest fungi to add to your fall decorations. No prior experience is needed. All supplies and materials will be provided.

An Evening at Camp
Ages 5 – 12
Join us for an evening of all our favorite camp games, hikes and activities to have one last summer camp night before fall really begins. The evening will end with s’mores and a campfire! Celebrate Sweetest Day with a sunset hike and charcuterie in Grant Park! Join Katie Blauser from Eat Pretty Darling for a cozy and creative evening in the heart of fall. You’ll start by crafting your own charcuterie tray, perfect for a golden-hour picnic during a scenic sunset hike through Grant Park. Parents: Need childcare? Check out the “An Evening at Camp” program. It’s offered at the same time!

Truck or Treat
All ages
A fall family favorite! Visit vehicles from our community partners and collect treats and giveaways! Honk a fire truck horn, shift tractor gears, push buttons in the law enforcement vehicles and much more! Kona Ice and Travelin’ Toms Coffee Truck refreshments will be available for purchase, weather permitting.
Registration is not required; however, registered participants will receive a cancellation email in the event of inclement weather. Please note: allergens will be present in some giveaways. 10:00 – 10:30 a.m. is a special sensory time! There will be reduced noise and lights.
Halloween Goat Yoga
Ages 18 and up
A one-of-a-kind morning filled with lots of fun and a bit of yoga! Goat Country, LLC. will bring their adorable goats dressed in costumes for a special Halloween program. Practice some classic poses while interacting with the goats. Additionally, participants are encouraged to wear costumes to get in the Halloween spirit! Time for pictures and cuddles with the mini goats will be included at the end.

Watercolor Painting Using Resist Techniques
Ages 18 and up
In this workshop, we will create stylized nature paintings using resist techniques. We will explore a variety of techniques while creating our paintings. Leave the class with two stylized, nature-themed paintings! All skill levels are welcome! This class is best for beginner to intermediate level participants. All equipment will be provided.

Hound Hike
All ages
Join us for a self-guided hike through the trails of Bill Yeck Park, complete with sniff-stops along the way. Your dog will explore brand-new scents, and you get a beautiful fall hike with your best friend. Afterwards, treat your pup to a fall-themed pup-cup! Participants are welcome to come anytime during the program. The final time to start the hike is 5:30 p.m.

Gentle Yoga B
Ages 18 and up
Tuesdays, October 21 – November 25
Join us for a gentler, more adaptable yoga program. This class will feature additional guidance, modifications and props to assist in supporting postures and a slower pace. Taught by certified yoga instructor Kathleen Crosby. This is an eight-week session. Please bring a yoga mat and water.

Fitness for Longevity (formerly Fitness Yoga)
Ages 18 and up
Wednesdays, October 22 – December 3

This class is designed to help you maintain the strength, mobility and power at age 100 that you have now. You’ll work motor units—which disappear if we don’t use them—and all types of muscle, from slow twitch to fast twitch. All levels are welcome. Taught by certified yoga instructor Dan Loofboro. Please bring a yoga mat and water.

The Great Squirrel Search
All ages
Squirrel fans unite! How many squirrels can we find in Bill Yeck Park in 90 minutes? We will scurry through the trail in the light and dark to find as many squirrels as possible. Why? Why not! Along the way, your leader will give you trivia and challenges. This is a Tools to Trek program.

Fall Foliage Camp A

Much like our summer day camp, campers will explore the park, but this time for all things fall foliage! Children will participate in games, crafts and nature programs, staying active on their days off. Fall Foliage Camps A and B are separate programming; participants may attend both.
