We have a variety of teamwork-based games and activities ready for you, should you accept the challenge. Our fan-favorite camp version of The Amazing Race is back! It will be a competition all week long! Your camper will play their favorite camp games, tie-dye team bandanas, and join in friendly, competitive outdoor activities. Week 4 campers will meet at Oak Grove Park on one of their camp days to fish, participate in archery, and for their grand competition!

Garden to Table Cooking Camp

In this hands-on cooking camp with Katie Blauser from Eat Pretty Darling, budding chefs will learn how to transform freshly harvested ingredients into delicious, simple dishes that celebrate the season. From garden to plate, participants will explore where their food comes from, practice basic cooking skills and enjoy tasting the vibrant flavors of local summer harvests. Please note: all major food allergens could be present in this camp.

Cooking Around the World Camp

Each day highlights a new culture and its signature dishes, giving participants the chance to cook, taste and learn about global flavors and traditions. Dino Digging and Daring Discoveries

Calling our junior paleontologists! Dinos have been found in Activity Center Park! Let’s get digging and investigate the mystery of these giant creatures. Don’t forget your detective hats and magnifying glasses! What will we discover? Please dress in old clothing, and we will provide aprons for especially messy crafts.

Archery Adventures Camp A

Monday – Wednesday, June 22 – 24 (Rain date: Thursday, June 25)

 

Archery and nature education combined! Campers will learn the basics of archery, play water games, learn about local wildlife, play archery tag and practice with 3D targets.

Pickleball League Any Doubles Intermediate A

This for-fun league is open to any doubles teams (men’s, women’s or mixed doubles) at the intermediate level. Please note that you may be assigned matches at any of the start times listed due to court availability. Please note, this is a league designed for players with a strong understanding of pickleball rules, and who are at an intermediate or higher level of competition. No instruction/lessons are included in the league.

Creek Peek: Beaver Fever!

Please note, this is a league designed for players with a basic understanding of pickleball rules, but who are still early in their pickleball skill development. No instruction/lessons are included in the league.

Fish Management in Southwest Ohio

Join Mike Porto, Fish Biologist of ODNR Division of Wildlife Fish Management for a presentation on fish management in Southwest Ohio. This program is presented in partnership with the Washington-Centerville Public Library and the Ohio Division of Wildlife.

Hike with a Naturalist: Fireflies

Grant Park 501 Normandy Ridge Rd., Centerville, OH, United States

Ages 18 and up

 

Join us on a stroll through your park! A naturalist will point out seasonal changes and discuss the wildlife we observe. Hike is on a natural path. We will be admiring the firefly displays in the parks during this special late night hike.
