It will be a competition all week long! We will participate in nature trivia, animal identification games and much more! Teams will tie-dye team bandanas that they are invited to wear on the last day for the ultimate challenge. This week we will be taking a field trip to Oak Grove Park to learn about fishing and archery. Parents should drop campers off and pick at Oak Grove Park on Wednesday. The cost of the field trip is included in this week’s fee. Thursday is the rain date for the field trip.

Combine outdoor adventure and nature education with this week-long camp. Adventure Camp focuses on immersion in the outdoors and works to build confidence through activities, outdoor skills, nature play, an overnight, hiking, creeking and a field trip to Aullwood Audubon Center and Farm.

Families are invited to join us outside to listen to a story brought to you by the Washington-Centerville Public Library! Participate in nature-themed activities following the story. Families are encouraged to bring a blanket to sit on. All sessions are Tools to Trek programs.

Registration is not required but is recommended.

Magician Mysteries and Circus Celebrations!
Ages 4 – 6

Monday, July 22 – Friday, July 26
1:00 – 4:00 p.m.

Our youngest magicians are taking the center ring! We will be looking at some great “magic tricks” in nature (and learning a few simple magic tricks we can show off ourselves). We will have fun with some optical illusions and crafts with epic transformations! Guest artist Kristin Bailey of the Purple Paintbrush, LLC. will join us this week too! Please dress in old clothing, and we will provide aprons for especially messy crafts.

Ages 18 and up
Wednesdays, July 24 – August 28

You will get it all in one fitness class — a challenging workout, yoga practice, as well as mindfulness and functional movement for vitality and longevity. All levels are welcome. Taught by certified yoga instructor Dan Loofboro. Please bring a yoga mat and water.

The 8th annual BIG Backyard Party is here! Join us for an afternoon full of hands-on activities all ages and abilities can enjoy. Activities will include inflatables, fishing, archery, field games and so much more! Free fishing poles are available for children ages 14 and under while supplies last. This program is made possible by several ongoing community partnerships.

Learn all about the creatures who explore our parks at night. This week will be focused on all things nighttime. Campers will make crafts, complete activities and play games all while learning about nocturnal creatures.

Imagination, Creation and Artful Investigation
Ages 5 – 7

This week our focus is on art and exploring our creative side! We will have a variety of art projects that incorporate a wide variety of materials. We’ll throw in some STEM, process/active artwork, and some detective-theme crafts and activities as well! Jim McCutcheon of McCutcheon Music is joining us for a special camp concert!

Camp Olympians!
Ages 8 – 12

The torch is lit! Join us for some friendly competition as we launch our camp Olympics. We will have a variety of activities including traditional Olympic sports, like archery and table tennis, and some camp-competition games that will have you going for gold! We will use our inflatable S.A.F.E. Archery equipment for this week of camp.
