Truck or Treat
All ages
A fall family favorite! Visit vehicles from our community partners and collect treats and giveaways! Kona Ice will be available for purchase, weather permitting. Please note: allergens will be present in some giveaways.
Attendees are encouraged to bring donations of new hygiene products (shampoo, body wash, toothpaste, toothbrushes), new clothes (any sizes), new pajamas (any sizes) for Isaiah 117 House.

Strollers in Motion
Adult caregivers with child 6 weeks – Pre K
Mondays, October 23 – November 20
Strollers in Motion is a stroller-based workout for moms, dads or other caregivers. Each total body workout incorporates power walking and strolling, strength training, balance work and toning. After some classes, special activities will be planned for the children! Strollers in Motion is led by Kenzie Potts.
Nature Fun: An Outdoor Family Storytime
All ages
Mondays, October 23 & November 13
Families are invited to join us outside to listen to a story brought to you by the Washington-Centerville Public Library! Participate in nature-themed activities following the story. Families are encouraged to bring a blanket to sit on.
Registration is not required but is recommended.
Conservation Crew: Wild Card
Ages 12 – 18
During this session of Conservation Crew, we will work on immediate needs of CWPD conservation. Please dress to be outdoors.

Fall Foliage Camp B
Ages 5 – 12
Keep your children active while school is out! Much like our summer day camp, campers will explore the park, but this time for all things fall foliage! Children will participate in games, crafts and nature programs. Fall Foliage Camps A and B are separate programming, so participants may attend both.

Intergenerational Series: Pumpkin Party
Ages 4 – 8 with grandparent(s)
Grandchildren and grandparent(s) will create a pumpkin craft, enjoy pumpkin stories and search for pumpkins large and small! Registration is required, but you can arrive anytime between 10:00 and 11:30 a.m.

Hound Hike
All ages.
Dress your dog up in their best costume and enjoy a self-guided hike through the trails of Bill Yeck Park. Start at the CWPD tent to get your score sheet, then see if your dog can find all the hidden scents along the trail. Participants are welcome to come anytime during the program. The final time to start the hike is 1:30 p.m.
Registration is not required.
Watercolor Pumpkin Class
Ages 18 and up
It’s fall! Cooler temperatures and lots and lots of pumpkins! We will celebrate by creating pumpkin-themed watercolor paintings utilizing basic brush and watercolor techniques.

Halloween Floral Design
Ages 16 and up (children 8 – 15 can be registered as participants alongside a paying adult)
Oberer’s Flowers is coming to you with a fun and relaxing way to start the weekend. Learn, step-by-step, how to create a “spooky” flower arrangement to take home with you! All supplies are included.

Let’s Meet Up
All ages
Meet other parents/caregivers and their children. Stop by the Kennard Nature Nook for a free snack. Then, explore the nature play area and trails during this casual meet-up! Staff will plan one activity for each session that children can participate in before or after unstructured playtime.
Canvas Painting and Storytime: Gobble, Gobble!
Ages 3 – 6 with adult companion
Children will design their own turkey on canvas and enjoy a festive Thanksgiving story during this fun evening with Kristin Bailey from The Purple Paintbrush.

Crunch Munch Hike
All ages
Just like a certain favorite arcade game, groundhogs have been eating and eating to prepare for hibernation! Come on out for a glowing walk, avoid the ghosts, and get your own crunchy treat! Take our groundhog quiz for a chance to win a prize! Bring a black light flashlight if you have one.
