Campfire Cupcakes
Ages 6– 10
Join instructor Katie Blauser from Eat Pretty Darling to build your own cupcake campfire! We will make vanilla cupcakes and decorate the tops with an edible campfire.

Family Mystery Night
Ages 8 and up
Owlexander hit the trails for an afternoon hike. While taking in the beautiful changing colors along the trail, he lost his keys! It’s Friday the 13th, so weird things are happening in the parks. Team up with your friends and family to see if you can solve the mystery. Get Owlexander’s keys back to him before dark! S’mores will be available following the program. One registration per group.

Learn about the history and features of your neighborhood parks. Meet your neighbors and enjoy light refreshments. Attend as many or as few sessions as you would like!

Spooky Stories with the Cincinnati Cabinet of Curiosities
Recommended for ages 10 and up (children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult)
The Cincinnati Cabinet of Curiosities is a comic anthology featuring ghost stories and cryptid accounts from the area. Join Kat Klockow for a storytelling session! Popcorn will be provided! Comic books will be available for purchase.

Reading in the Wild

Ghosts and Goblins Archery
Ages 8 – 15
It’s spooky season and the archery range is full of ghosts and goblins! We will learn the basics of archery and put the skills learned to practice. Participants will compete in friendly fall-themed competitions. All equipment is provided.

Amazing Athletes at the Park B
Ages 3 – 6
Wednesdays, October 18 – November 29
(No class November 22)
This program uses the fundamentals of 10 different sports to help build and develop motor skills, nutritional knowledge and body awareness. Sign up for all three sessions and receive an Amazing Athletes t-shirt! This class will be held outdoors when possible with the option to go inside for inclement weather, so please dress accordingly.

Fitness Yoga
Ages 18 and up
Wednesdays, October 18 – November 29
(No class November 22)
You will get it all in one fitness class — a challenging workout, yoga practice, as well as mindfulness and functional movement for vitality and longevity. All levels are welcome. Taught by certified yoga instructor Dan Loofboro. Please bring a yoga mat and water.

Outdoor Photography Scavenger Hunt
All ages
Participants will explore the park through a photography scavenger hunt. The team with the most items found on the list will receive a prize! All families need to bring a device to take photos, preferably one that has a screen to view the photos. Cell phone cameras are acceptable! One registration per family.

Preschool Nature Series: BAT-daptations
Ages 3 – 5 with adult companion
Bats have really fascinating adaptations to survive in Ohio habitats. We will learn all about their unique characteristics on a short hike!

Capture the Flag & Bonfire
Ages 12 – 17
The ultimate game of capture the flag! Participants will be broken into two teams. Each team will have to make it back to their side of the field with the other team’s flag while protecting their own. After the winning team is determined, we will enjoy s’mores by the fire.
