Summer Slime Making

Have fun making your own red-, white- and blue-themed versions! We will responsibly clean up our mess, but also have fun making it! This program is a great way to make new friends and try some new slime recipes for fun and stress relief! Due to the variety of types of slime, please be sure to note any allergies.

ACtivity Squad Camp Week 6

Calling all foodies! This week we will learn healthy and yummy recipes and refine our cooking skills. We will learn about the life cycle of the foods we love, while learning different ways to prepare them! We will cook outside if weather permits. Campers will take home their culinary creations to enjoy.

It’s fantastical out here! We will use our imaginations to search for our favorite mythical creatures in the woods. Campers will create homes for fairies and gnomes, learn about mythical creatures lurking in the parks, and bring imagination to the forefront of this camp.

Naturalist Camp: Insects

Ages 12 – 15

 

We will conduct wildlife surveys, climb trees with EarthJoy, hike, go creeking, and take on silly team challenges. Each week will have a different nature theme to study. We will spend one day each week at Oak Grove Park where we will focus on archery, special activities and challenges related to our weekly theme.

Sugar Valley Day Camp Week 6

Bill Yeck Park, Smith House 2230 E. Centerville Station Road, Centerville, OH, United States

Ages 6 – 12

 

Habitats are animal homes, and Bill Yeck Park is full of them! On top of the usual classic camp games and crafts, each day will focus on a different habitat and the wildlife that rely on it. Hike through the forest, explore the seed nursery, learn about the bee hives, go creeking, and even learn about the Smith House and how it served as a home for people AND wildlife.

Bike Centerville Community Ride C

Village South Park 411 North Village Dr., Centerville, OH, United States

Ages 18 and up

 

Take advantage of this opportunity to explore Centerville and Washington Township by bicycle. The ride will be led by trained and experienced bike leaders and will help you learn routes to shopping, parks and more! Rides will be an easy-paced 10 to 15 miles that start and end at a park.

Hike with a Naturalist

Cool Off Crafts

Sensory experiences with coloring ice and making your own ice cream craft in the shade are fun ways to cool off, but if that doesn’t do it, grab a free ice pop before playing on the playground!

Families are invited to join us outside to listen to a story brought to you by the Washington-Centerville Public Library! Participate in nature-themed activities following the story. Families are encouraged to bring a blanket to sit on. All sessions are Tools to Trek programs.
