Join avid birdwatcher John Kennard on a walk focusing on bird identification. Bring binoculars if you have them; a limited supply will be available to borrow. Hike is on a natural path.

Truck or Treat
All ages
A fall family favorite! Visit vehicles from our community partners and collect treats and giveaways! Honk a fire truck horn, shift tractor gears, push buttons in the law enforcement vehicles and much more! Kona Ice and Travelin’ Toms Coffee Truck refreshments will be available for purchase, weather permitting.
Registration is not required. Please note: allergens will be present in some giveaways.
Spider Search

Spiders are so cool! Learn the basic characteristics of spiders before searching for these 8-legged ecosystem rock stars! Containers and identification guides provided. This is a Tools to Trek program.

Fall About Archery – Family Battles
Ages 8 and up
Looking for some family-friendly competition? We will learn the basics of archery and will use the skills you learn in a friendly competition against your own family. Please register just one family member. Maximum four people per family. All equipment is provided.

Fall About Archery – Adult Archery
Ages 16 and up
This program is for beginners interested in learning archery! By the end of this program, you’ll be shooting on your own, playing games and increasing your confidence as an archer. Each group can have up to 4 people. This program is perfect for couples, friend groups, co-workers, siblings and more! One registration per group. Must be 16 or older to join.

Crafts with Nature
Ages 18 months – 4 years with adult companion
We will complete crafts with sensory themes and take short hikes in the park — sparking a love of nature in our youngest community members! This program is limited to one adult companion per registrant. Backpacks and front carriers are appropriate if your child is not walking. Strollers are not recommended at parks with natural terrain. The Crafts with Nature October programs are identical, please only select one.

Dance Fitness with Emily
Ages 18 and up
Tuesdays, October 15 – November 19
We dance to various styles of music (Latin, hip hop, pop, global rhythms, etc.) which provides a good mix of low to high-intensity moves. Instructor Emily Chandler strives to make this class high-energy and a lot of fun! We can guarantee you’ll leave this class feeling great! Please bring a bottle of water.

Ghosts and Goblins Archery
Ages 8 – 15
It’s spooky season and the archery range is full of ghosts and goblins! We will learn the basics of archery and put the skills learned to practice. Participants will compete in friendly fall-themed competitions. All equipment is provided.

Amazing Athletes at the Park B
Ages 3 – 6
Wednesdays, October 16 – November 20
Come join Amazing Athletes as we practice our coordination, fine motor skills and gross motor skills! This program uses the fundamentals of 10 different sports to help build and develop motor skills, nutritional knowledge and body awareness.

Fitness Yoga
Ages 18 and up
Wednesdays, October 16 – November 20
You will get it all in one fitness class — a challenging workout, yoga practice, as well as mindfulness and functional movement for vitality and longevity. All levels are welcome. Taught by certified yoga instructor Dan Loofboro. Please bring a yoga mat and water.

Kid’s Glass Fusing: Penguin Ornaments A
Ages 6 – 10 with adult companion
Children will use their creativity to make two penguin ornaments! Kathy Woodruff from Busy Beaver will assist the children and parents, guardians or grandparents as they work together on this unique project. Please register each child attending.

Spiders aren’t scary! Join us as we look at different spider artifacts and learn how spiders impact the world around us. Your leader will have spider stories, crafts and so much more.

Glass Fusing: Fall Flower Suncatcher
Ages 16 and up
Create a 4.5″ by 9″ suncatcher to highlight a favorite fall flower. Kathy Woodruff from Busy Beaver will provide the supplies. Beginners and returners alike are welcome to this new class!

Saturdays, October 19 – November 23
Method Yoga Studio’s Megan Lees leads these yoga classes for all levels. Classes include warm-up, breath work, standing poses, flowing poses and end with relaxation.
