Meet up with other trail trekking enthusiasts to trek through the parks during this self-guided meet-up program! You must bring your own Nordic poles if you sign up for this option.
There is no registration deadline for this program. Join anytime! Tuesday Trail Trekking locations will be the same as the A Walk in the Park program.

Sign up to rent Nordic poles if you want to try trekking before you purchase your own set. You will be contacted to sign a borrower’s permit and pick up your set for the spring. Get outdoors, enjoy sunshine and fresh air while meeting other walking enthusiasts. These are self-guided walks around your community parks! Walking helps maintain a healthy weight, increases energy, lifts your spirits, strengthens memory and protects from heart disease and high blood pressure. Enjoy reduced stress, improved quality of sleep and the many benefits from an improved quality of life. It will be A Walk in the Park!

Gentle Yoga A
Ages 18 and up
Tuesdays, March 5 – April 9
Join us for a gentler, more adaptable yoga program. This class will feature additional guidance, modifications and props to assist in supporting postures and a slower pace. Taught by certified yoga instructor Kathleen Crosby. Please bring a yoga mat and water.

Young Birders Club Chapter Meeting
Ages 11 – 18
Bird watching and identification is fascinating. You will walk away with a greater knowledge of birds and their role in the ecosystem. Club activities are based on participant feedback, so you direct the focus of study. A light snack is included. Participants must be members of the Ohio Young Birders Club.

Let’s get you moving outdoors this spring! Staff and volunteers will lead groups for different paces. Hike for Your Health is a wonderful opportunity to meet new people and get to know some of your parks better. All hikes are on natural trails. Please wear appropriate shoes for trails that may be muddy or slick.

Fitness Yoga A
Ages 18 and up
Wednesdays, March 6 – April 10
You will get it all in one fitness class — a challenging workout, yoga practice, as well as mindfulness and functional movement for vitality and longevity. All levels are welcome. Taught by certified yoga instructor Dan Loofboro. Please bring a yoga mat and water.

Fitness Fusion
Ages 18 and up
Wednesdays, March 6 – April 17 (No class March 27)
Fitness Fusion incorporates cardio, circuit training, resistance training, pilates and compound exercises. Modifications provided. Taught by Emily Chandler, a certified group fitness instructor. You will need a light set of weights and a towel or yoga mat.

Ages 12 and up
Join local business Now and Zen Terrariums to create a one-of-a-kind 8″ x 10″ wall art project with live air plants. You will be able to select from a variety of unique embellishments to add to your piece to reflect your style and vibe!

Eat the Rainbow!
Ages 4 – 8
Join instructor Katie Blauser from Eat Pretty Darling to explore the colors of the rainbow with food! Participants will enjoy a colorful taste test and will cut up fruit to make kebabs with “cloud” dip. Please note: all major food allergens could be present in this class.

Tai Chi Intermediate
Ages 18 and up
Mondays, March 11 – April 15
Continue to develop Tai Chi and Qigong principles moving from Tai Chi Easy™ into Dr. Roger Jahnke’s Integral Tai Chi form. Taught by Judy Wilson, Certified Integral Qigong and Tai Chi Instructor. This class will take place outdoors with the option to move indoors for inclement weather, following the most up-to-date guidelines.
